One of the most powerful features of our Save to Email product is you no longer have to send your follower to a landing page to capture their email address. Instead, with GrocersList, we help you capture their email all from within your DMs through a series of automated messages, helping improve your conversion rate.

Here's what that flow looks like:

The Steps:

  1. Your follower responds with a keyword to your post. Then, they receive the automated DM with the recipe and save to email button.

  2. The follower taps the save to email button.

  3. Next, they will receive the following message from you (sent by GrocersList): "Great! I'll add your email to my list and send this recipe over right now. What's your email address?"

  4. Then, the follower enters their email address.

  5. Lastly, they will receive the following message from you (sent by GrocersList): "Thanks! Check your inbox for the recipe!"

If a follower enters their email incorrectly, they can easily modify it by tapping the "Change My Email" button.

FAQ:

  • Can I edit the automated messages GrocersList sends on my behalf? You can customize the text that appears in the visual DM card that contains the recipe, but you cannot edit the text used to capture the follower's email address. The specific text used is designed to help you stay email compliant.

  • My follower clicked the "save to email" button, but nothing happened. If it it has been over 24 hours since you sent the original message containing the recipe, then the email request message will not send. Encourage your follower to click the "save to email" button again to re-start the flow, which allow them to proceed with sharing their email address.
