For some posts, you want to customize and include more text for your followers.

That's why we offer our text DM template. The text DM template accepts up to 700 characters of text. Which will allow for more personalization to the specific link being sent.

Inside any paid account, head to the comment for recipe post table under 'advanced'.

Find the post you want to modify to the text DM template, then click edit post.

In the post editor, choose the text DM template on the top right.

Hit save. All done!

Then when a follower comments for the recipe, the image preview will load in their DM. Here's what it looks like once live:

The text DM template has no way to add multiple buttons, which means 'save to email' and 'shop the recipe' along with any custom buttons, are not supported.

Additionally, we can track sends and opens for this template type, but we do not have the ability to track clicks.
