First things first, in order for GrocersList to send out an automated direct message, your Instagram post or reel needs to include the external URL in the caption. (Otherwise, our system won't know what to send your followers.)
But, what happens if you forget to include the link?
No worries! Here are a few steps you can follow to quickly remedy the situation:
First, you'll receive an email from GrocersList notifying you that your post is missing the link. You can login to GrocersList from that email or as soon as you realize you forgot to include the link.
Next, navigate to the Advanced tab of Comment For Recipe. Once you're there, you should see your post tagged with a "No external link!" warning. (You can also click the box in the upper left-hand corner of the table labeled 'Show incomplete posts' to filter by posts missing a link.)
Click the Edit button. A modal should pop up.
Add the link to the external URL field.
Hit Save.
Once you've hit 'save', your automated direct messages and comment replies (if you have those enabled) will begin sending to anyone who comments on the post from that point onward.
