Troubleshooting: DMs Not Sending from Grocer's List

If your direct messages aren't sending from Grocer's List, this might be caused by Meta's thread control settings interfering with our messaging functionality. You might notice this issue when:

  • Instagram story messages fail to send

  • The save to email feature works inconsistently

  • DMs appear to send from Grocer's List but don't reach recipients

How to Fix It

Step 1: Access Advanced Messaging Settings

  1. Log into your business Facebook page

  2. Click Advanced Messaging

Step 2: Configure Instagram Settings

  1. Next to Instagram receiver, click Configure

  2. Set the receiver to Grocer's List

Step 3: Configure Facebook Settings

  1. Repeat the same process for Facebook Messenger

Step 4: Test Your Setup

Why This Happens

Meta's thread control system determines which app can send messages on behalf of your business page. When multiple apps are connected or settings aren't properly configured, messaging conflicts can occur, preventing Grocer's List from sending DMs successfully.
