How to Migrate Your Posts from ManyChat or LinkDM

If you’ve been using ManyChat, LinkDM, or another automation tool to send automated DMs, you can easily migrate your past posts into Grocer’s List.

This way, your older posts that continue to get comments can still get automated DMs and you won't have to reply to those followers manually.

How it Works:

  1. Request a migration: Email us at [email protected] and let us know you'd like to migrate your posts.

  2. We’ll import your posts:
    Our team will import your 300 most recent Instagram posts into Grocer’s List.

  3. Check your post captions:

    1. If your post captions already include a keyword and a URL, no extra work is needed. DMs will send automatically when someone comments.

    2. If your captions only include a keyword (and no URL), follow the next step to finish setting things up.

  4. Add missing URLs (if needed):

    • In Grocer’s List, under Comment for DM, filter your Posts & Reels by posts missing a URL.

    • Add the direct link for each post where you want the DM to trigger.

    • Once you add a URL, the automated DM will start sending when someone comments.

  5. Cancel your old automation tool:
    After migration is complete and your links are set, you’re ready to cancel your ManyChat or LinkDM subscription.

  6. Disconnect your old Instagram connection:

    1. Go to your Settings in ManyChat or LinkDM

    2. Remove your Instagram account from their platform

    3. This prevents any future interference with Grocer’s List automation
